Apollo Point Universe: Series Blurb

Good evening,

Just finished writing a blurb for the Apollo Point series. This is a universe that I am in the advance stages of creating. I made a conscious effort of creating the universe in fine detail before I started writing it (Although I jumped the gun a bit and have written the prologue to the first story). I also want to have Echoes of Absicon finished before I avert my attention. Anyway, here is the blurb:

“Welcome to the Jericho system”, one of the most populous
systems in the Outer Rim – the edge of the galaxy, the region of space agreed on by the major galactic empires as a neutral zone, a free trade area governed by no singular body. The population is diverse – it is home to Humans, Cor’a, Virashii, KreaTara and even Izledow. It is a place where dreams can come true – or be shattered into a million pieces.

Mike ‘Zen’ Halcyon, a confederation exile, is part owner and operator of Apollo Point, a free-trade organization based off Andreas Orbital in the Jericho system. From their flagship, the Ascension of Stars, Zen and his crew take jobs as couriers, security experts, convoy escorts, explorers and even combatants. If the money is right (and the job relatively legal), then they’ll do it. The Galaxy is large, and behind every star-system lie enemies and shadowy organizations. On the edges of explored space, anything can happen and adventure and risk are one in the same.

The trick is knowing how to survive…

I'm actually really looking forward to getting started on this series. Style wise, I've taken a lot of inspiration from a series called "Anita Blake: Vampire Hunter" by an author called Laurel K. Hamilton for the Apollo Point series. The books in this series are written in a fun, easily understandable way, and you don't have to think too much about what you read. Simple, but effective.

Anyhow, Sayonara (I hear they say that in Japan)!

Sayonara is goodbye. If you want to be more casual say ja ne or ja matta ne. Use short vowel sounds.

I really liked the da vinci code. I agree that u just wanted to keep on reading. I read about 350 pages of it in one day cos i got into it and just wanted to finish. I agree about tom hamks, hes a wanker but sophie will be played by audrey tatou (Amelie) and i think shes cool. Theyve already started filming and there was a nun protesting because they were filming in her church and the film sends many anti christian messages.

I need to find a new book to read now. Ive been given one called Mr. Commitment which is supposed to be good and i have a compendium of roald dahls adult short stories which should be cool to. Sorry forthe long comment. I shouldve just emailed.

Talk soon

If you liked Da Vinci Code, then try and find a book called the Seventh Sanctuary by Daniel Easterman. It's similar in ways to da vinci, but was written in the 80s and is set mostly in Israel and the middle east.

I notice that your typing has become a bit better. Keep up the good work, buddy ;)
