Absicon Universe: Echoes of Absicon

The following is a short draft blurb that I have created for EoA. It's not great, but its the best I could come up with quickly. I realised that its actually harder to write a forty word blurb than it is to write a five hundred page novel. Crazy, I know.

Humanity has always been its own worst enemy. Earth and
Mars have been rendered uninhabitable by chemical weapons
deployed during the first system wide war. Now, human kind are settled on a small number of worlds in the dozen or so star systems closest to Earth, separated by areas of lawless space. Criminals thrive, and corruption is rife… and humanity is about to face their darkest hour.

Captain Jason Marx is a man far from a hero. He has lost his ship,
stranded himself and his crew on a dangerous space city and is broke. Yet his destiny is written. He may be the one thing standing between humanity and its total annihilation. And when an ancient alien race marks humanity for extinction, he must become someone he never thought he would be.

In a vast, endless universe, can one man and his crew make a difference?

Hope this sheds a little bit of light on Echoes of Absicon. Enjoy!

Thanks buddy. Did you like the Da Vinci Code? I thought it was a fantastic story. Not just the story itself, but I like the style of writing, because it constantly kept you interested. Ruth and Luke didn't think it was too special, though. Too bad the movie is going to have Tom Hanks in it. It could have been good.

That's cool about the car, BTW.
